How to Find the Right Copper Kitchen Sink Faucet

You have made a great decision buying a hand hammered SoLuna copper kitchen sink – your job is almost done.  Generally the next decision is the perfect faucet and accessories to go with your sink. A wide range of styles, functions and finishes are available making it tricky to get it right. At Copper Sinks Online, we have tried to make this decision easier for you by narrowing the field to the styles and finishes that coordinate best with the rich, natural look of our copper kitchen sinks.

Style is strictly a personal taste issue, but function and finish are the areas we focus on to make sure our customers get a quality copper kitchen faucet that will last for years.  We lean towards faucets with ceramic cartridges and solid brass base material – these will be the most durable.  We not only sell many attractive faucets with two handles, but we have a full range of single-lever faucets with either pull out sprayer, pull down sprayer or side spray.  We also stock and sell other convenient extras like a garbage disposals and hot water dispensers.

Here are a few easy guidelines to remember when selecting and installing a kitchen faucet. The spout should be mounted close to the centerline of the sink, and if it is an offset sink it should be mounted on the divider between the bowls. The spout should be long enough to project one-third to one-half into each bowl. Any side spray should be mounted to the far side of the sink (the most common configuration is the right side since most people are right handed). The soap dispenser should be mounted on the side that will be filled up to wash dishes and have a spout that reaches into the sink.

Although a few of our clients have matched chrome or polished nickel faucets with copper kitchen sinks, most of our customers opt for Oil Rubbed Bronze, Antique Copper or Polished Copper finishes.

We recommend that you choose the same finish drain as your faucet for a more pleasing aesthetic look.  Contact our customer service if you need help with selecting the right finish or guidance on sizing – we are happy to help you with these important decisions.

Trying to decide on pulldown or pullout faucet. Leaning to pulldown but would like comments. Also does anyone have a pfister? I have read conflicting opinions on this brand
